Montana Application System Crashes on Deadline Day
June 4, 2010.
Like so many other online application sites, the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks online licensing system crashed due to heavy volumes on the last day to apply for special hunting permits.
Applications for permits for limited-access areas, special doe or cow hunts, and antelope were due on Tuesday, June 1.
In response to the crash, MFWP recommended that hunters run out and get paper applications -- a paper application with a June 1 postmark is considered as meeting the deadline.
