A Whole Bunch of Draw Results Available

Several big draws have been completed, many of those ahead of schedule. If you applied in Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, or Idaho -- you'll want to check your results.

Colorado Elk

Colorado has posted elk draw results about 2 weeks early. Check your results online at: http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting/BigGame/DrawResultsAndPrefPoints/

I've made arrangements to pick up a landowner voucher later in the summer, so just points on this draw for me.

Note: Since Colorado is ahead of schedule on this one, there's a good chance that deer results will be available today, May 21. I would check after lunch time to see....

Kansas Deer

Kansas has posted the deer draws results about 2 weeks ahead of schedule.

Last year, everybody drew a whitetail permit. Draw odds for the Mule Deer Stamp are tougher, however.

Wyoming Bison

Wyoming has posted results for the 2010 wild bison draw, one of the great western hunts.

The system is a little confusing -- they don't tell you if you drew or not, they just give you a priority number. 

This year, there will be 16 nonresident bull tags.  If your priority number is in the top 16 .... you're going on a bison hunt.

I drew my tag in 2005, so don’t follow this one as closely as I used to, but would love to hear from you if you draw.

Idaho Sheep, Goat, Moose

Draw results for Idaho sheep, goat, and moose are available -- about 3 weeks early. To check your results, you'll need your license number.
