Wyoming Elk Applications Due February 1

January 13, 2010.

Wyoming Game and Fish is now accepting applications for nonresident elk licenses for the 2010 hunting seasons.

The application deadline this year is February 1. The February 1 deadline is a departure this year from the normal January 31 deadline since January 31 is on a weekend.

Hunters may apply online through the Game and Fish Web site at https://gf.state.wy.us/elsapplication/ELSWelcome.aspx.

Nonresident application information is available at http://gf.state.wy.us/wildlife/hunting/NonResident/index.asp.

Which unit to apply for? Unit 58 is widely known as the top choice in Wyoming for elk, but you'll need maximum preference points to draw.
