Ballistic Testing Sparked Explosion at Nosler Plant
June 8, 2010.
A preliminary investigation by fire officials in Bend, OR has determined that ballistics testing in a concrete underground shooting range sparked the fire that caused a large explosion at the Nosler ammunition plant last week.

There were no injuries in the blast, but preliminary damage estimates are in the neighborhood of $15M+.
