Nugent Comments on His Baiting Plea

After his plea deal for hunting violations in California (see our August 18th update), Ted Nugent was uncharacteristically silent.

One website, Bowsite.com, featured some comments that were allegedly made by Nugent and were posted, 2nd- or 3rd-hand, if true at all, on a talk forum at bowsite.com. (If this link ever stops working, it probably means that Bowsite.com was asked to remove the comments).

In the alleged comments posted on Bowsite.com, Nugent was painted as incalcitrant, whining, and extremely arrogant. 

Since then, Nugent's official website has been updated with a short but tasteful acknowledgement of the issue:

"From Ted Nugent:

To my Fellow Outdoorsmen.... You may have read the news that I pled no contest to two misdemeanor game violations. I should have been better informed, more aware and I take full responsibility. The honorable hunting lifestyle is my deepest passion.

-Ted Nugent"
