What To Do With Your Colorado Antelope Preference Points?
March 31, 2011.
I mentioned a while back that I'll be taking my first-ever guided antelope hunt this year. I'll be hunting with what I believe to be the best antelope outfitter in the state of Colorado.
The outfitter is Brandon McCullough of High Plains Adventures. Brandon guided the holder of the 2010 Colorado Governor's tag to a great, wide-flaring buck last year. He also guided his other hunters to 5 bucks over 80" -- an incredible feat in a state not typically known for monster antelope.
Brandon usually helps his clients acquire landowner vouchers that ensure they get antelope tags, but those tags are also available through the draw.

I've been keeping in touch with Brandon since booking my hunt with him. and he agreed last week to make an offer that will only be seen on HuntTheWest.com:
If you have a preference point or two and draw your own tag, Brandon will knock a hundred bucks off his typical outfitted hunt fee.
I haven't hunted with Brandon yet so can't say from experience what it's like to hunt from him. But I'm confident enough that he's got an outstanding product that I burned my 4 Colorado preference points and booked a hunt with him.
If you've got Colorado antelope points that you're not sure what to do with, call Brandon and talk to him about what he has to offer. Mention that you heard about him on Hunt The West. I'd ask him about both his rifle hunts and his muzzleloader hunts.
But remember, the Colorado application deadline is April 5th!
