Upcoming Raffles For Colorado Deer and Moose

Another great raffle is coming up soon, this time for Moose and Deer in Colorado.

The Colorado chapter of Safari Club International sponsors this raffle every year.

The moose tag is valid in any legal area and season in Colorado. Colorado moose tags normally take many, many years of preference points and a lot of luck to draw, so raffles like this are particularly attractive. The raffle should be of special interest to non-residents, as it's about the only way you can get access to some of the best trophy units in the state, which are usually available to residents only.

The deer tag is also valid for any legal area and season in Colorado. Colorado is widely considered to be the premier state for mule deer right now, making this arguably the single best mule deer tag in the world.

The Colorado Chapter of SCI’s moose and deer license raffle benefits the Colorado Division of Wildlife, with 75% of the proceeds benefiting the DOW’s management projects.

Tickets are $25 each, or 5 for $100. You can buy up to 25 tickets.

Last year, 1,282 tickets were sold for moose and 781 for deer.

The drawing will be held on March 10th.
