Colorado Prepares to Set Dates for 2011 Duck Season

Wyoming's Test-and-Slaughter Program For Elk Completes 4th Year

Year four of the five-year elk test-and-removal pilot project was completed with a second week of captures taking place last week. The pilot project was one of 28 recommendations made by the Governor's Brucellosis Coordination Team in a comprehensive effort to deal with brucellosis in Wyoming.  Agency personnel captured and handled 489 elk total. Idaho Estimates Negative Economic Impact of Wolves at $15 Million+

Idaho's Fish and Game department recently released a report that attempted to provide a rough estimate of the economic impact of the state's wolf popluation.
