Applying in Arizona: Lead-Time on Licenses
January 15, 2008.
As Hunt The West subscribers recall from our December 31st update, we recommended that Arizona applicants get their license purchase taken care of in order to avoid paying the $151.25 hunting license fee on each of your individual species applications.
I sent in the paper form for my license on 12/31/07 and received the license yesterday, 01/14/08 — a two-week lead-time.
Applications for elk and antelope are due on February 12th, 2008. If you mail in your license application now, you should still probably receive it before this deadline.
To buy a license, print out and mail the following form to AGFD:

Personal checks are accepted, but credit cards are not. As Hunt The West subscribers will recall, Arizona is not accepting online applications and is not selling licenses online this year.
