2009 Wyoming Big Game Applications Available

December 3, 2008.

The non-resident application book for the 2009 Wyoming big game seasons is now available on the website of Wyoming Game and Fish.

If you applied last year, you should have received a postcard notifying you of the availability of the apps about a week ago. But, they didn't seem to actually be available until Tuesday, about a week later than last year.

Access the applications online. As of Tuesday, the link to the 2009 applications was mislabeled "2008 Nonresident Application Booklet," but nevertheless pointed to 2009 info.

Highlights:

  • In 2009, there may not be a leftover draw. Instead, leftover licenses may be available at automated license selling agents on a first-come-first-served basis. WGFD advises us to check the Department’s Web site for details after April 1, 2009.
  • License prices have remained the same as last year, ranging from $286 for an antelope tag to $2,266 for a bighorn sheep tag.

Resident application booklets will be available at Game and Fish offices and license agents by the last week of December.
