Apply Now For Wyoming Sheep, Goat, Moose, Bison

February 27, 2008.

The deadline for applying for Wyoming Sheep, Mountain Goat, Moose, and Bison tags is February 29th — just days away.

You can apply in a matter of minutes using Wyoming's online system.

You will have to front the considerable tag fees to apply for Sheep ($2,266), Goat ($2,166), and Moose ($1,416).

For bison, you only need to front $20, but will have to pay the tag fee ($2,502) if drawn.

For the details you need to apply, see the Wyoming application booklet.

If you want to apply for only a preference point in Wyoming, the preference point application period is July 1 - September 30. Preference points apply to sheep and moose, but are not available for goat or bison.

The application deadline for elk has already passed. The application deadline for deer and antelope is March 15th.
