Whitetail Rut Tracker

Wanted to call your attention to the whitetail rut tracker on Versus.com.

Not sure how accurate it truly is, but what a great idea.

Also, a quick observation on the rut in Colorado. There's a herd of 12 mule deer does and fawns outside my window right now, and not a buck in sight. This is pretty consistent with what I've been seeing -- the Colorado rut in the mountains is not underway.

And, my sources in north-central Kansas tell me that the rut is just kicking in there, about 2 weeks late.
