2008 Wyoming Non-Resident Applications Available
November 24, 2007.
Wyoming 2008 non-resident applications are now available on the website of Wyoming Game and Fish. (Resident application booklets aren't supposed to be available until January 1.)
Some of the key changes for 2008 include:
- Across-the-board price increases of about 20%. For example, elk licenses are going from $493 to $591; antelope from $238 to $286; sheep from $1,913 to $2,266. If you apply for several species in Wyoming, this will get painful very quickly.
- An emphasis on online applications over the old paper applications.
- A new deer region, Region Y, up around the Big Horns.
- New Bighorn Sheep Areas
Deer and antelope are due as late as March 15, but elk applications are due by the end of January.
